The mind is where it all starts.

Gosh it took me my whole life to truly get this. To get the fact that we must work on our heads before we really commit to making changes that will last in our lives.  How many times have you started eating healthier and working out 3-5 times a week then something happens - either someone comes over or you don't feel well or you ate too much at a company lunch and all of a sudden all that drive and hard work just poof - goes away??  Then think of a time where you got something in your head that you really wanted no matter what and you did anything and everything to get it - nothing stopped you like getting that man or that dress or pregnant or going on that trip or getting that promotion or going to that restaurant that's totally out of the way just to get your favorite dessert?  Both of those scenarios begin and end in your head.  It's all about our mind.

Our mind is so powerful that it can move us when we think we have no energy left to breathe or it can stop us in our tracks when we know in our hearts it's better to be consistent.
So knowing all this, you might ask well how do I get my mind right?  The answer to that really is a lot simpler than you think and it's worked for many, many people not just me.  Surround yourself with that with which you want.  Do you want to lose weight and get in shape for summer?
Ok so start reading and listening to audio books about motivation and inspiration on that subject.  I love, "100 ways to motivate yourself' by steven chandler. I listen to it at work, in my car, while I'm cleaning at home.  It just puts my mind right. Put up photos of someone with the body you want and add your face to the pic!
Post inspirational quotes all over the house especially the fridge and mirrors!
Watch, listen, read, experience only the positive information that will keep your mind on track and your body will follow. Get a coach -like me- to help you through it for free!
